In light of recent developments concerning the health of our community, The Board of Directors of the Wright Opera House has made the decision to temporarily postpone in-person programming in hopes of resuming at the end of January, 2021.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our incredible volunteers and supporters for an inspiring summer and fall season. Your continued support has helped to keep the arts in our community alive and vibrant this year despite obvious hurdles for us all.
The Wright Opera House staff and Board of Directors will utilize this period of closure to gear up for an exciting 2021 schedule, as well as execute a few projects pertaining to our Historic building.
In the meantime, we will continue to host the WrightEd online lecture series, and look forward to bringing you more virtual content in the months to come. Custom Crafted by Cie’s art exhibit “Arborescent” will remain on display and will continue to be available for viewing by private appointment. As always, please visit our website for continued online offerings such as our in-house radio show, The Shadow, virtual art show “Art in Isolation,” and more.
At the Wright Opera House we are determined to always be in compliance with all state, county and city laws, licenses, permits, orders and guidelines for all aspects of our performing arts venue and Tavern space. We are also very cognizant of the responsibilities we shoulder in being a gathering center for our community, as well as the financial responsibility we carry to our donors. We will continue to keep all of these duties at the forefront of our decision making processes when we reevaluate at the end of January 2021.
Thank you again for your understanding and continued support. From all of us at The Wright Opera House, we wish you a safe and Happy Holiday season!
See you soon,

We're working hard to make the Wright Opera House an open and welcoming venue to organizations throughout Colorado. We're also trying to restore a facility that is over 126 years old. Needless to say, we have our work cut out for us! If you have some praise for what we've done already or some feedback on what we could do better, please
